New Series of Movements for Light Weight Balance Balls

Rosiland has designed a set of Movement Sequences using the ball as a tool for resistance to create a method of upper body strengthening. The sequences differ from working with barbells or other hand-held weights in that they provide the resistance necessary for toning and strengthening without the overextension of arms that can strain or injure joints or muscles.

The balls come in two, four, six, eight and ten pounds; we will help you select the proper weighted ball for you and prepare it by adding an exact mixture of air pumped into the ball to obtain optimum results, as well as using an “aging” process to make it the proper consistency for handling.

Rosiland Solomon, a holistic acupressurist and long time practitioner of Tai Chi and Chi Gung, uses a four pound weighted Balance Ball as a tool for posture correction and centering. The ball can be an invaluable tool for attaining the exact stance necessary to perform the motions of Tai Chi and Chi Gung with the spine, head and hips all correctly aligned.
